The New York Carolina Club was pleased to host a free virtual event with Stephanie Pace ’76 (BA) ’85 (MA), who is the owner/producer of FilmNC Capital Management LLC.
She talked about the acclaimed basketball documentary “McGuire’s Miracle,” of which she is the writer and director.
The documentary tells the magical story of the undefeated 1956-57 UNC Men’s National Championship Basketball team that capped their season in storybook fashion defeating a Wilt Chamberlain-led Kansas team in triple overtime in the NCAA Tournament championship game.
Joining the discussion was three former members of the 1956-57 team: Tommy Kearns, Joe Quigg, and Bob Young.
Larry Keith ’69, who had an illustrious career at Sports Illustrated as a reporter, writer, senior editor, assistant managing editor, and editorial projects director, hosted the chat.
