University Day 2023 Tar Heel Service Project

In honor of University Day, join us in this year’s Tar Heel Service Day project at City Harvest’s Melrose Mobile Market in the Bronx. Volunteers will help distribute fresh produce to the eligible local market goers. Supplies and safety guidelines are provided. This will be a great occasion to celebrate the University, the community, and get into the spirit for the Duke game that day!

WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 11, 8:30am – 12pm

HOW: Please SIGN UP HERE to attend. Space is limited to 10 people.

The project takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes. It is recommended that you travel light, as this is a very hands-on activity and there is no secure place to leave your property. All volunteers should wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes to this project. Ballet flats, loafers, sandals, and flip-flops are not permitted.
