About Chelsea Phillips

Chelsea Phillips joined Anheuser-Busch eleven years ago as a sales trainee after her graduation from Carolina (BSBA degree), and in that time, has touched many parts of the business. She reinvigorated the Value Brands portfolio to be a growth engine for the business led by Busch, catalyzed the creation of A-B’s Beyond Beer Business Unit responsible for capturing beer-adjacent growth, and built the Beyond Beer Launchpad to nurture early-stage brands in a system designed for big, legacy brands.

Chelsea is passionate about developing individuals to shape diverse, high-functioning teams that contribute to A-B’s growth and culture. Now as VP Innovation, Chelsea is leading Anheuser-Busch’s next chapter of innovation leadership with focus on sustainable, profitable growth through a true consumer-first mentality. Her team is responsible for front-end ideation, new-to-world brand creation, in-market incubation, and deployment.

In Chelsea’s free time, you’ll find her attempting a new baking recipe or visiting Lake Norman, NC soaking up sunshine with her family and friends. She resides here in New York City with her cat Bean.
