University Day is an occasion to remember the University’s past and celebrate its future. The date, Oct. 12, marks the laying of the cornerstone of Old East, the institution’s first building and the oldest state university building in the nation. To celebrate University Day this year, we are inviting you to help us beautify New York’s Morningside Park. Volunteers collect trash, weed, plant, and rake. Supplies and safety guidelines are provided, and kids are welcome!
WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at the Pond, inside the park near 112th Street and Manhattan Ave.
HOW: Please SIGN UP HERE to attend. Space is limited to 40 people.
Please reach out to Emily Kupec at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. It will be a great way to celebrate the University and New York community and get ready for the Duke game later that day!
